Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) focuses on the principles that explain how and why behaviors take place. ABA therapy can be beneficial and offer continued support and skill development that will enable children to gain necessary skills to increase independence in home, school, and community settings.

Parent/Caregiver Training
At GSBC we believe that the level of parent involvement is key to a child’s success therefore we put a strong emphasis on parent training. Our BCBAs conduct weekly or biweekly training with each child’s parent/caregiver(s) based on program intensity.
Coordination of Care
Children learn from their environment and models within. When children begin to build skills within therapy and start attending pre-school, community settings, or other therapies, we coordinate with the service provider or teacher to ensure skills learned in therapy are generalized.

We guide you—not just waitlist you.
Too many families are added to a provider’s client list before there is a realistic plan to begin care. That can leave you waiting without clear answers, useful support, or a dependable next step.
Great Strides takes a more responsible approach. We only accept new clients when we believe we have the team, availability, and appropriate services to support them well.
From your first conversation, we listen, explain your options, and help you understand the path forward. If we can serve your family, we work toward getting care started. If we cannot, we are honest about it and help guide you toward practical next steps—because your child deserves more than a place on a list.

“My clients are like family; my staff and I give each of them the time and attention and care that I expect for my own children. When we can work with teachers and parents and caregivers to create a support team that is fully engaged in therapy, together we can raise the bar.”
– Amy Leuthauser (Owner/Executive Director)
